Dedicated leadership supporting Loomis families and local priorities.

The Town of Loomis operates under the council–manager form of municipal government. The town council is comprised of five elected members representing the town of Loomis. Councilmembers serve four-year terms and must reside within the Loomis town limits they represent.
The council member receiving the highest number of votes in the latest election is seated as mayor pro tempore during the first year and then serves as mayor during the second year. The council member receiving the second-highest number of votes then becomes Mayor Pro Tempore.
As the policymakers for the town, the council passes resolutions and ordinances, establishes administrative policy, approves the budget, appoints citizens to advisory boards, and hires the town manager, who serves at the pleasure of the council.

When reviewing your ballot, remember to look at every candidate carefully — not just the first names listed. No matter where Stephanie Youngblood appears on the ballot, she is committed to serving Loomis with integrity, leadership, and a vision for the future of our community.
